I brought the engine up to where the fan came on and then checked for leaks. I did get bubbles out of the rear bleeder. The front isn't too bad but the rear is tough to get to and I was not able to get a drain hose on it, so. I was able to locate both coolant bleed screws. I coated both side with HyLoMar and let it set up before installing. I also replaced the water pump housing gasket. I drained the coolant, replaced the small hose on the top of the water pump and clamps. When they notified me that my order had shipped, they attached a picture of the items before packing them. The regulator is backordered from Italy so that will have to wait.

I looked through the Service Station Manual and could not find anything regarding the performance and/or replacement of the rectifier/regulator. I placed an order with our hosts for the hose, clamps, pink coolant and rectifier/regulator. I certainly hope that it is not the alternator, but I've had these ducati R/Rs fail before on other bikes, so. So I'm pretty sure the rectifier/regulator is toast. After running the engine to find the coolant leak, the charging voltage was down to 11.8v and the screen display was flickering. When I tried to tighten the clamp, the leak got worse, so. The coolant leak appears to be where the rubber hose connects to the top of the water pump. There are no ECU or DSB fault codes stored.
